1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using reralens.com (the "Service") you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What RERALens is — and isn't

RERALens is an informational platform that aggregates and presents data filed by real-estate developers on the Karnataka RERA portal. We are not:

• A real-estate broker, agent, or sub-agent.
• A legal, financial, tax, or investment advisor.
• An affiliate, agent, or representative of Karnataka RERA or the Government of Karnataka.
• A guarantor of the accuracy or completeness of regulatory data.

You must verify any information shown here directly with the developer and the KA RERA registry before making any purchase, investment, or legal decision.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.

4. Account responsibilities

You are responsible for all activity on your account. Keep your password secure. Notify us immediately at support@reralens.com if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or appear compromised.

5. Pricing and payments

• Prices for unlocked reports and subscription plans are shown on the Service and may change with 7 days' notice.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay; you must accept Razorpay's terms in addition to ours.
• Prices are inclusive of applicable GST. A GST-compliant invoice is issued within 24 hours of payment.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the next billing cycle.

6. Refunds

• Unlocked reports (one-time): refundable within 24 hours of payment if you have not downloaded the PDF report. Email billing@reralens.com with the transaction reference.
• Subscriptions: refundable on a pro-rata basis for unused months if cancelled within 7 days of the most recent billing.
• Disputed accuracy of regulatory data: we will investigate every dispute and, if our display materially misrepresented the KA RERA source, we will issue a full refund regardless of timing.

Refunds reach your original payment method within 5-7 business days.

7. Acceptable use

You may not:

• Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download data from the Service (use the API, when available, with credentials).
• Re-publish, resell, or commercially redistribute RERALens-generated reports or analysis.
• Use the Service to harass, dox, or otherwise harm a developer, allottee, or any other person.
• Attempt to break authentication, payment, or rate-limiting systems.
• Misrepresent yourself as a RERALens employee, affiliate, or partner.

8. Intellectual property

The Service's code, design, derived analytics, and trust-score methodology are owned by RERALens. The underlying RERA-filed data is public information and remains with its original filers and the Government of Karnataka. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to view RERALens content for personal, non-commercial use; unlocked reports may be used for your own real-estate decisions but may not be republished.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS". TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RERALENS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES — EXPRESS OR IMPLIED — INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that regulatory data is current, accurate, or complete, even where we have applied our normalization and quality-control efforts in good faith.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RERALens's aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or ₹10,000, whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, or lost opportunity, even if advised of their possibility.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RERALens, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claim arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

12. Termination

You may close your account at any time from the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate your account for Terms violations, suspected fraud, or extended inactivity (24+ months). Provisions that by their nature should survive (IP, disclaimers, liability cap, governing law) will survive termination.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka. Before filing suit, parties will attempt good-faith resolution by email for 30 days.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be communicated to registered users at least 14 days before they take effect.
